In the pop vocal production course, we will look into recording tips such as levels and proper outboard gear setup. We will learn how to ensure a great input signal to start working with, as well as techniques to ensure cleaner and more professional vocal takes.

Video 1 & 2 - Arrangement

We will look into the fundamental theory of arranging and producing a pop vocal stem - from melody to arrangement. We will explore the basic arranging motif and how to construct it. We are also covering double and backing vocals and when or how to use them to enhance all our music projects.

Finally, we are looking into vocal processing to polish the vocal with different effects such as reverbs and delay units.

Video 3  - Processing

We are looking into vocal processing to polish the vocal with different effects. If there are no effects on the input of the audio signal, we need to polish and balance the audio using VST compressors and equalizers. We add reverb and delay units to sweeten the sound and finally, we enhance the vocal stem with stereo imaging units such as doublers and choruses.
